Calvary Chapel Mission Viejo is the first church to support me! Praise God for that, and pray that it will open up new doors to talk to more people about missions in Japan, and how they can ba a part of it.
Also, check out my newest newsleter for new news. There I talk about my latest short term trip to Japan, some of the needs seen there, and Tomo talks about how Japanese people celebrate Christmas. And be sure to see some of the new photos I've uploaded from my trip!
In April I got by far the largest boost in support of any month since I started support raising! We're up to 13.5% now, that's a 5% increase from March! To put that in perspective, the first six months of support raising averaged less than 1% per month, and March brought in a significant 2% increase. So 5.% is pretty huge, and even better, 5.5% is exactly the amount per month that I set a goal of raising in order to get my full support by next Summer. Again, it is amazing to see God's goodness and provision. He does great things.
Support is up to 5%! I'm praying that God will bring in aditional 6% this month to get me back on track for a Summer 2009 departure! Please pray with me! If you'd like to see my monthly goals, check out my Support Raising Schedule.
I'm going to be speaking at a weekend retreat SEND is putting on for college students interested in missions, this Friday through Sunday. I'll be sharing about why I got into missions, joined SEND, and also talking about Japan. Pray that God will call more people to follow Him by becoming missionaries.

I'll be speaking at my home church for about ten minutes or so about going to Japan as a missionary. Anyone who wants to come watch and talk to me, feel free to stop by. The service starts at 10:00AM.

Well, as you can see, I finally got around to putting my website together. Hopefully I'll have a lot more content up here as I find time to upload more pictures and write some more articles.
